We are pleased to announce the latest version of HaViMo computer vision module; HaViMo3.0 has finally been released on the 20th of May, 2015.

The new version now includes two major upgrades, 2 megapixel image sensor and a ARM Cortex M3 processing unit which means way more processing power!

We have co-created F.R.H.A.N.K, an artificially intelligent, socially curated gaming  humanoid robot that acts as a side-kick to celebrity youtube gamer vlogger Ali-A. The Fridge Raider Hunger Automated Nutritional Kit, or F.R.H.A.N.K. for short, was Ali-A's side-kick for 7 months between October 2014 and April 2015. During this period he was hanging out, playing Call of Duty, learning how to speak ‘Gamer’ and serving Fridge Raiders. Several videos produced incorporating the Ali-A and FRHANK, accumulated over 15m views through Ali-A's youtube channel and micro-site frhank.com. The community of Ali-A's fans were continuously engaged in contributing to FRHANK's evolution.

Rickie is one of its kind 1.2m tall humanoid robot that rides a Segway.
His head has two cameras that are remotely linked to an Oculus Rift virtual reality headset that allows the remote operator to be fully immersed in the teleresence robot. Rickie is a unique meet-and-greet robot capable of interacting with people, recognizing their faces and can read their name if they carry a nametag.

FRHANK is a human size humanoid robot on a self balancing Segway-style platform, capable of talking, facial expressions, obeying human voice commands and handing Fridge Raiders sausages. Commissioned by Matissons, he acted as side-kick to celebrity gamer Ali-A. The video unveiling the robot as he wheels out of a mysterious crater in Ali-A's garden had 1m views within the first week week.
