  1. HaViMo 2.5 - Vision Module for Arduino Sale
    Exc. VAT: £80.27 Inc. VAT: £96.32 £117.20

    Getting started with HaViMo2.5
  2. SparkFun - ProtoSnap - MiniBot Kit Sale
    Exc. VAT: £43.54 Inc. VAT: £52.25 £71.60

Description: Do you want to explore the field of robotics but don't know where to start? The ProtoSnap MiniBot is a low-cost introduction to robotics for hobbyists, students and educators. The MiniBot is an Arduino-compatible platform which makes it ideal for people just learning to program as well as experienced Arduino users. And since it's built on the ProtoSnap architecture, once you've exhausted the potential of the kit as-is, you can break it apart and use the components to make other robots.
  3. SparkFun ToF Range Finder Sensor - VL6180 Sale
    Exc. VAT: £18.07 Inc. VAT: £21.68 £26.40

This is the SparkFun "Time-of-Flight" Range Finder, a sensor board for the VL6180 distance sensor. Unlike most distance sensors that rely on reflected light intensity or reflected angles to determine range, the VL6180 uses a precise clock to measure the time it takes light to bounce back from a surface. This affords the ToF Range Finder and VL6180 a great benefit over other methods because it can be much more accurate and more immune to noise. Does this technology sound familiar? Well it should, it's the same means cellphones use to detect when the caller is holding their phone to their ear.
  4. Metal Pushbutton - Momentary Sale
    Exc. VAT: £4.35 Inc. VAT: £5.22 £6.70

This is a perfect choice if you are in need of a heavy duty push button! These metal push buttons are a very tough, small, panel-mount momentary switch with an illuminated blue LED ring. It is a SPDT with 16mm threading and 1mm pitch. This button is perfect for basic On/Off functions. Overall length (including leads) is 1.5" and has small solder lugs for connection. These momentary buttons are rated up to 3A and 250VAC while the LED is rated for 5-12V.
  5. SparkFun ESP8266 Thing Sale
    Exc. VAT: £11.10 Inc. VAT: £13.32 £17.00

The SparkFun ESP8266 Thing is a breakout and development board for the ESP8266 WiFi SoC – a leading platform for Internet of Things (IoT) or WiFi-related projects. The Thing is low-cost and easy to use, and Arduino IDE integration can be achieved in just a few steps. We've made the ESP8266 easy to use by breaking out all of the module’s pins, adding a LiPo charger, power supply, and all of the other supporting circuitry it requires.
  6. SparkFun WiFi Shield - ESP8266 Sale
    Exc. VAT: £9.86 Inc. VAT: £11.83 £16.00

The SparkFun ESP8266 WiFi Shield is an Arduino compatible shield for the ESP8266 WiFi SoC – a leading platform for Internet of Things (IoT) or WiFi-related projects. There are a variety of designs based around the ESP8266, including tiny, modular boards and more accessible development boards like our very own SparkFun ESP8266 Thing. The ESP8266 WiFi Shield finds a middle ground between the Module and the Thing that provides a great introduction to the ESP8266 – without leaving the comfortable hardware confines of your Arduino. If you just have an Arduino project that needs an inexpensive gateway to the Internet, the ESP8266 WiFi Shield does everything from turning on an LED to posting data online to a data streaming service.
  7. SparkFun 6 Degrees of Freedom Breakout Sale
    Exc. VAT: £5.96 Inc. VAT: £7.15 £9.70

The LSM303C is a 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) inertial measurement unit (IMU) in a single package, specifically developed as an eCompass device. Due to the IC housing a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis magnetometer combined with its low cost, the LSM303C was perfect for us to create this small breakout board just for you! Each LSM303C Breakout has been designed to be super-flexible and can be configured specifically for many applications. The LSM303C Breakout can be configured to generate an interrupt signal for free-fall, motion detection and magnetic field detection!
  8. ProtoBoard - Square 2" Sale
    Exc. VAT: £2.18 Inc. VAT: £2.62 £3.40

This is a very simple but handy, 2" square, double sided perf board. Standard 0.1" spacing with a 4-40 (3mm) holes for mounting. Great for quickly prototyping stackable circuits.
  9. Thermoelectric Cooler Sale
    Exc. VAT: £6.16 Inc. VAT: £7.39 £10.00

Thermoelectric coolers (TEC or Peltier) create a temperature differential on each side. One side gets hot and the other side gets cool. Therefore, they can be used to either warm something up or cool something down, depending on which side you use. You can also take advantage of a temperature differential to generate electricity. The thermal tape listed below works very well to attach heat sinks to the hot side.
  10. USB to TTL Serial Cable Sale
    Exc. VAT: £7.52 Inc. VAT: £9.02 £12.20

This is a USB to TTL Serial Cable which allows for a simple way to connect TTL interface devices to USB. The I/O pins of this cable are configured to operate at 3.3V specifically with a Raspberry Pi with each serial pin broken apart. Thanks to its separated pins, this cable is a perfect candidate for powering, connecting, and accessing the login and debug console on the Raspberry Pi.
