The servo line-up from Robobuilder offer PID motion control, serial
communication, 1 Analogue port and an extended protocol for complete
control and configuration. Additionally the servo has transparent cover (exposing
the inner workings of the servo) and comes with two coloured LEDs (controllable
via the servo protocol).
The servo is controlled over a UART TTL serial line, meaning it can be controlled from a wide variety of devices, including the PC (using the appropriate RS232 or USB to TTL converter) and uses standard 2 byte instruction packets for control and feedback.
