These analog (RH) British Telecom connectors are primarily used by our English friends across the pond but here at SparkFun we like to use them for Vernier sensors. These 6-pin connectors are very similar to the RJ11s we use here in North America except instead of a bottom-mounted hook lock, the BTA uses a side-mounted lock. These BTA connectors are perfect for educators or other users who need to set up a Custom Vernier analog sensor which produces a voltage that changes from high to low or vice versa.

These digital (LH) British Telecom connectors are primarily used by our English friends across the pond but here at SparkFun we like to use them for Vernier sensors. These 6-pin connectors are very similar to the RJ11s we use here in North America except instead of a bottom-mounted hook lock, the BTD uses a side-mounted lock. These BTD connectors are perfect for educators or other users who need to set up a Custom Vernier digital sensor which produces a voltage that needs to be measured like temperature, force, light, or sound.

Fingerprint scanners have been easily available at a consumer level for a number of years now, so it is only logical that they would continue to grow and evolve as time moves on. That's what bring us to this Capacitive Fingerprint Scanner from ADH-Tech. The AD-013 fingerprint sensor module is a combination fingerprint scanner and MCU and provides a UART interface port for easy functionality.
  5. Exc. VAT: £4.08 Inc. VAT: £4.90
This is a simple-to-use Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensor, suitable for sensing CO concentrations in the air. The MQ-7 can detect CO-gas concentrations anywhere from 10 to 500ppm.
  6. Exc. VAT: £27.25 Inc. VAT: £32.70
This is a high-quality color CMOS camera module. Power the CM-32 module, hook up any display, monitor, or LCD screen with an RCA input and get vivid color video at 976x592 resolution. Module is easily mountable and has a wide operating voltage (6V to 26V). Comes with high quality optics, all the on board circuitry to output RCA signal, and cable harness.
  7. Exc. VAT: £7.58 Inc. VAT: £9.10
RC time constants and cut-off frequencies got you down? What frequencies should pass and which should be stopped from passing through? Determining values for R and C can be hard work, but do you know if your filter will work? Experimentally verify your filter using SparkX's Configurable RC Filter.
  8. Exc. VAT: £60.00 Inc. VAT: £72.00
The SCD30 from Sensirion is a high quality Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR) based CO₂ sensor capable of detecting 400 to 10000ppm with an accuracy of ±(30ppm+3%). In order to improve accuracy the SCD30 has temperature and humidity sensing built-in, as well as commands to set the current altitude. For additional accuracy the SCD30 also accepts ambient pressure readings!
  9. Exc. VAT: £5.25 Inc. VAT: £6.30
Designed to fit LMR's universal sensor bracket, this sensor works by shinning IR light onto an object and then tracking the reflected IR. This sensor does not work in bright daylight as sunlight has a lot of IR and blinds the sensor. The IR LEDs can be controlled by a digital output so that ambiant light as well as reflected light can be measured. Your microcontroller needs 4 analog inputs available to use this sensor.
  10. Exc. VAT: £28.25 Inc. VAT: £33.90
EasyVR 3 Plus is a multi-purpose speech recognition module designed to easily add versatile, robust and cost effective speech recognition capabilities to almost any application. The EasyVR 3 Plus module can be used with any host with a UART interface powered at 3.3V – 5V, such as PIC and Arduino boards. Some application examples include home automation, such as voice-controlled light switches, locks, curtains or kitchen appliances, or adding “hearing” to the most popular robots on the market.
