Sparkfun

SparkfunWe are one of the first Authorised Sparkfun Distributor in the UK. As SparkFun UK distributors we stock a huge range of SparkFun items – boards; modules; individual components; kits; and of course development boards including the Arduino, the Netduino and the SparkFun Redboard. Simply choose your desired development platform and let your imagination run wild!

Do you need advice on how to use a SparkFun product? Give us a call or email us and we will spend time with you on the phone to check what best suits your needs.

Our catalog is syncronized every day with the SparkFun website data, if there's a new product in the SparkFun website it will automatically be added to our store.

As SparkFun has a huge catalog we are not able to keep everything in stock. On each SparkFun item that's not in stock, there's a message saying when our next order with them will be placed and, if you can wait, just place an order and it will be included in our next order from the USA.

We are currently ordering from SparkFun every 3 weeks however this time frame can be shortened if we have more orders for SparkFun products; the more you order, the less time you may need to wait for your items.

This is the SparkFun ESP8266 Thing Dev Board --- a development board that has been solely designed around the ESP8266, with an integrated FTDI USB-to-Serial chip. The ESP8266 is a cost-effective and very capable WiFi-enabled microcontroller. Like any microcontroller, it can be programmed to blink LEDs, trigger relays, monitor sensors or automate coffee makers. With an integrated WiFi controller, the ESP8266 is a one-stop shop for almost any internet-connected project. To top it all off, the ESP8266 is incredibly easy to use; firmware can be developed in Arduino and uploaded over a simple serial interface. The ESP8266 Thing Development Board breaks out all of the module’s pins with pre-soldered headers, and the USB-to-serial converter means you don’t need any peripheral components to program the chip. Just plug in a USB cable, download the Arduino board definitions, and start IoT-ing.

These Adam Tech Wall Adapter Cables are terminated with a standard North American (NEMA 5--15P) plug at one end and three insulated spade terminal connectors at the other. Each cable is 1m long and provides a safe and appropriate way to hook up our Mean Well power supplies!
  3. Exc. VAT: £1.50 Inc. VAT: £1.80
This is a very small FM transmitter. Designed to be the building block of wireless microphones and MP3 broadcasters, this small module requires only two external components and utilizes a completely digital interface.

This EeonTex fabric is a conductive, nonwoven microfiber for use in e-textiles as well as electromagnetic and resistive heating applications. Each sheet of the EeonTex Conductive Fabric is pre-cut into 12 inch by 13 inch sheets about 0.8mm thick. This fabric is very versatile and perfect for anyone interested in wearables and e-textiles.
  5. Exc. VAT: £2.50 Inc. VAT: £3.00
This is a 10-pack of 20MHz resonators in a tiny SMD package. Resonators function like crystals but stick closer to their specified frequency over a full temperature range. These resonators possess an initial frequency tolerance of ±0.5% and a load capacity of 15pF.

The LilyMini ProtoSnap is a great way to get started learning about creating interactive e-textile circuits before you start sewing. Like other LilyPad ProtoSnap boards, the LilyMini ProtoSnap has all of its pieces wired together out of the box, enabling you to test the circuit’s function before you sew. At the center of the board is a pre-programmed LilyMini microcontroller connected to a LilyPad Light Sensor, LilyPad Button and two pairs of LilyPad LEDs.

This 2x20 "tall" header has the same number and spacing of pins as a Raspberry Pi and provides your board with the ability to extend the heights of your GPIO to accommodate for enclosures or other parts that can encapsulate your Pi. This through-hole header has 40 0.1"-spaced pins and can just be snapped into place with minimal soldering to an applicable "shield."

The SmartiPi Touch is a case and stand for the official Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen LCD. The display securely fits into the case with four screws, while a Raspberry Pi 2, 3, B+ or A+ is enclosed in the compartment on the back with a simple door. A ribbon cable that comes with the display connects into the Raspberry Pi DSI port. The stand has a pivot that allows you to adjust the angle of the screen for better viewing, as well as mounting points to affix it to a certain location.

This is the same accessory cable found in the LIDAR-Lite v3. The LIDAR-Lite Accessory Cable is terminated with a simple 6-pin JST at one end and a bare wire pigtail at the other. You can use this cable as a replacement to the one you are currently using, as a backup in case of damage, or if you just need a second one.
