Sparkfun

SparkfunWe are one of the first Authorised Sparkfun Distributor in the UK. As SparkFun UK distributors we stock a huge range of SparkFun items – boards; modules; individual components; kits; and of course development boards including the Arduino, the Netduino and the SparkFun Redboard. Simply choose your desired development platform and let your imagination run wild!

Do you need advice on how to use a SparkFun product? Give us a call or email us and we will spend time with you on the phone to check what best suits your needs.

Our catalog is syncronized every day with the SparkFun website data, if there's a new product in the SparkFun website it will automatically be added to our store.

As SparkFun has a huge catalog we are not able to keep everything in stock. On each SparkFun item that's not in stock, there's a message saying when our next order with them will be placed and, if you can wait, just place an order and it will be included in our next order from the USA.

We are currently ordering from SparkFun every 3 weeks however this time frame can be shortened if we have more orders for SparkFun products; the more you order, the less time you may need to wait for your items.

The SparkFun ZOE-M8Q GPS Breakout is a high accuracy, miniaturized, GPS board that is perfect for applications that don't possess a lot of space. The on-board ZOE-M8Q is a 72-channel GNSS receiver, meaning it can receive signals from the GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo constellations. This increases precision and decreases lock time and thanks to the onboard rechargable battery you'll have backup power enabling the GPS to get a hot lock within seconds! Additionally, this u-blox receiver supports I2C (u-blox calls this Display Data Channel) which made it perfect for the Qwiic compatibility so we don't have to use up our precious UART ports. Utilizing our handy Qwiic system, no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

The ANN-MB-00 GNSS multiband antenna is extremely unique from other GNSS/GPS antennas in that it is designed to receive both the classic L1 GPS band and the newly launched (started in 2005) L2 GPS band. Additionally, the ANN-MB-00 from u-blox is extremely well built with both a magnetic base with mounting holes for additional anchoring for the harshest environments.

Pycom Pytrack Expansion Shield adds the functionality of a super accurate GNSS, Glonass GPS to Pycom development boards. Pytrack shields use a USB interface with serial access while including a LiPo battery charger, MicroSD card capability, and a three-axis, 12-bit accelerometer. These Pycom shields feature an ultra low power operation mode (~1uA in deep sleep) and can operate in -40°C to 85°C temperatures.

This tri-band GNSS antenna is ideal for GPS L1, GLONASS L1, and Beidou B2 reception. At 45x45mm it is a large ceramic antenna with an incredible 38dB LNA gain.

Normal GPS antennas are optimized for the US based GPS reception which is great but with more and more modules capable of tracking additional constellations (termed GNSS receivers) you're going to need the right antenna! This exceptional GPS/GNSS antenna is designed for both GPS and GLONASS reception. When used in conjunction with the SparkFun GPS ground plate this antenna achieved excellent TTFF and SIV statistics for both GPS and GLONASS constellations. The magnetic mount allows it to be easily mounted to a metal base such as a ground plate or car roof. The antenna is terminated with a 3m cable and standard SMA connector.

With GPS you are able to know where you are, where you're going, and how to get there anywhere on Earth within 30 seconds. This means the higher the accuracy the better! GPS Real Time Kinematics (RTK) has mastered dialing in the accuracy on their GPS modules to 25mm, and that's why we had to put it on this board!
