SparkfunWe are one of the first Authorised Sparkfun Distributor in the UK. As SparkFun UK distributors we stock a huge range of SparkFun items – boards; modules; individual components; kits; and of course development boards including the Arduino, the Netduino and the SparkFun Redboard. Simply choose your desired development platform and let your imagination run wild!

Do you need advice on how to use a SparkFun product? Give us a call or email us and we will spend time with you on the phone to check what best suits your needs.

Our catalog is syncronized every day with the SparkFun website data, if there's a new product in the SparkFun website it will automatically be added to our store.

As SparkFun has a huge catalog we are not able to keep everything in stock. On each SparkFun item that's not in stock, there's a message saying when our next order with them will be placed and, if you can wait, just place an order and it will be included in our next order from the USA.

The Honeywell HPM Series Particle Sensor is a laser-based sensor which uses the light scattering method to detect and count particles in the concentration range of 0 µg/m3 to 1,000 µg/m3 in a given environment. A laser light source illuminates a particle as it is pulled through the detection chamber. As particles pass through the laser beam, the light source becomes obscured and is recorded on the photo or light detector. The light is then analyzed and converted to an electrical signal providing particulate size and quantity to calculate concentrations in real time. The Honeywell particle sensor provides information on the particle concentration for given particle concentration range. This unit is rumored to provide a long life of 20,000 hours of continuous use. Essentially, this equates to seven years of product life (based on eight hours of operation per day).

The FS2012 mass flow sensor module measures the flow across a sensing surface using the thermo-transfer (calorimetric) principle and is capable of measuring gas or liquid medium. Some key advantages over other flow solutions The sensor utilizes series of MEMS thermocouples, which provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The solid thermal isolation along with the silicon-carbide film coating offers excellent abrasive wear resistance and long-term reliability. The high temperature material used in the flow channel housing and base allows for a wide operating temperature. These features offer key advantages of the FS2012.

The LM Liquid Level Sensor incorporates stainless steel and plastic isolation features suitable for level sensing in water and other liquids. The LM uses a low cost stainless steel sensor in a PVC plastic fitting to be able to accurately and efficiently measure out water level readings without any issue.

Sharp's GP2Y1010AU0F is an optical air quality sensor, designed to sense dust particles. An infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor are diagonally arranged into this device, to allow it to detect the reflected light of dust in air. It is especially effective in detecting very fine particles like cigarette smoke, and is commonly used in air purifier systems.

The SFM3000 sensor is Sensirion’s digital flow meter designed for high-volume applications. It measures the flow rate of air, oxygen and other non-aggressive gases with superb accuracy. A special design of the flow channel results in the very low pressure drop through the flow body of the sensor making it extremely suitable for very demanding applications, such as medical ventilation and respiratory applications.
