Sparkfun

SparkfunWe are one of the first Authorised Sparkfun Distributor in the UK. As SparkFun UK distributors we stock a huge range of SparkFun items – boards; modules; individual components; kits; and of course development boards including the Arduino, the Netduino and the SparkFun Redboard. Simply choose your desired development platform and let your imagination run wild!

Do you need advice on how to use a SparkFun product? Give us a call or email us and we will spend time with you on the phone to check what best suits your needs.

Our catalog is syncronized every day with the SparkFun website data, if there's a new product in the SparkFun website it will automatically be added to our store.

As SparkFun has a huge catalog we are not able to keep everything in stock. On each SparkFun item that's not in stock, there's a message saying when our next order with them will be placed and, if you can wait, just place an order and it will be included in our next order from the USA.

We are currently ordering from SparkFun every 3 weeks however this time frame can be shortened if we have more orders for SparkFun products; the more you order, the less time you may need to wait for your items.

At our current size, it's inevitable that there will be some waste in production. This is a grab bag of some of the parts that have fallen off the pick and place machines. It pains us not to use these parts knowing they are still 99% good. But because of our crazy growth we just can't justify testing and reusing them. That's why we're putting them up for sale: hoping to divert some electronics trash and give our customers some useful parts to pull from.

This is a Ding and Dent version of our Raspberry Pi B Block for the Intel® Edison. This block has headers pre-soldered on, which means we were not able to test the board at all due to the headers being attached. We cannot guarantee that this Edison Block even works, but we knew some of you out there would still love the opportunity to get your hands on it and experiment.

This is a simple two wire automotive cable. Each assembly has bare wires on both ends with a Molex A and B connector in the middle. With thinner 26 AWG wire, it’s better for applications that would not require the thickness of its 18AWG counterpart.

There are lots of trimpots out there. Some are very large, some so small they require a screwdriver. Here at SparkFun, we just needed a simple one that worked. This 2K trimmable potentiometer has a small knob built right in and it's breadboard friendly to boot! Perfect for your next LCD contrast adjuster, opamp setting, or volume level.

Virtual reality is in, but you shouldn't have to drop hundreds of dollars to gain access to the technology behind it. Luckily, that's where the SparkFun VR IMU Breakout (with bad silk) comes in. At its heart is Bosch’s BNO080, a combination triple-axis accelerometer/gyro/magnetometer SiP, packaged with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M0+. The BNO080 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) produces accurate rotation vector headings, excellently suited for VR and other heading applications, with a static rotation error of two degrees or less. The VR IMU is exactly what we’ve been waiting for: All the sensor data is combined and drift-corrected into meaningful, accurate IMU information. It’s perfect for any project that needs to sense orientation or motion. This IMU breakout board has also been equipped with two I2C Qwiic connectors, in order to make interfacing with the tiny, QFN package a bit easier. It’s part of SparkFun’s Qwiic connect system, so you won’t have to do any soldering to figure out how things are oriented. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

This is a simple 4-pack of momentary, multicolor buttons, great for all sorts of projects! This version of multicolor buttons do not have recessed actuators and instead have red, green, blue, and yellow caps to distinguish them from each other. The colored caps are removable and the buttons fit into breadboards.

The SparkFun 9DoF IMU Breakout incorporates all the amazing features of Invensense's ICM-20948 into a Qwiic-enabled breakout board complete with a logic shifter and broken out GPIO pins for all your motion sensing needs. The ICM-20948 itself is an extremely low powered, SPI enabled 9-axis motion tracking device that is ideally suited for smartphones, tablets, wearable sensors, and IoT applications. Utilizing our handy Qwiic system, no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

Let our failure be your creation. We've got quite a stack of coasters - these are PCBs that were retired because of hardware revisions and board changes. Probably because we never could get the board to work in the first place. So please, use these for any project you can think of - art, solder practice, drink coasters, etc. We look forward to giving them a happy home.
