3D Printing Material

3D Printing Material

The wide range of available colors are great for display prototyping uses. With low warping PLA is a popular plastic for home printers, hobbyists, and schools. PHA, PLA-N, Premium PLA and XT are all unique types of PLA Its strength, flexibility, machinability, and higher temperature resistance make it often a preferred plastic for engineers, and professional applications. ABS is petroleum based and requires a heated build plate. Durable with a excellent strength to flexibility ratio Nylon filament can be dyed and prints with a smoother finish than other plastics. Great for flexible industrial parts, prosthetics, medical equipment and complex costumes.

Polyvinyl Alcohol is water soluble plastic mostly used as support material. Note this cannot be used with single nozzle 3d printers. Odorless, strong with high adhesion PETG is perfect for large prints and is less brittle than PLA or ABS. With low shrinkage it does not warp and has a high chemical tolerance. These experimental filaments are designed to mimic wood, metal and much more. These are perfect for design projects, art installations, jewelry and more.
