Hi all!

RoboSavvy is proud to announce that all Thing o Matics we have in stock (and have sold after NYC Makerfaire) included the new MK7 Stepstruder.

In addition, we're proud to announce today the release of the Stepstruder MK7 Pack for Dualstrusion.

This pack includes the second MK7 Stepstruder + Gen4 Stepper Motor Driver + Exteruder Controller 3.6 :
In essence everything you need to add a second Extruder to your Thing o Matic and start printing with Dualstrusion!

To learn more about Dualstrusion, you can check out Makerbot's Documentation here http://www.makerbot.com/docs/dualstrusion/

In addition, please note that if your Thing o Matic is still using a previous generation extruder (MK5, MK6, MK6 Plus) you'll ned to upgrade this extruder to an MK7 as well (the upgrade is here http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... ts_id/1838)

Dualstrusion requires twin MK7 Stepstruders.

We're very excited with this new technology on the Thing o Matic and have even added Water Soluble PVA to our catalog!

You can now print with PVA as support material and wash it off at the when you finish printing!
This opens the door to high quality, intricate builds as you can now print a solid piece (with a mix of ABS and PVA) and then wash off the intermediate material once you finish printing!

Hurray for print quality and capability! There are no limits to what you can do with your Thing o Matic :)

Pedro.
