Robobuilder - Metal Brackets Kit

The Metal Brackets Kit for Robobuilder is specially aimed at improving the looks or preparing your robot for Robo-one like (demanding) competitions.
The kit includes the Leg Brackets + Arm Brackets + Chest Cover as displayed bellow.

Bellow you can find a video of a Robobuilder with the Metal Brackets Set (this is a 5740K Robot designed for competition which is faster than the standard 5710/5720; the 5740K is available on custom order):

Kit Contents:

• Arm Brackets

• Leg Brackets

• Chest Cover

• All necessary nuts / bolts / etc. to perform the assembly on a standard Robobuilder kit.

Important Note: These are the Metal Brackets only; you must have your own Robobuilder 57xx Robot to be able to install this upgrade.

Please note these assembly instructions are for a 20 DOF robot. This kit includes the metal brackets for the normal robot with 16 DOF only.
To assemble this metal brackets kit (on a 16 DOF robot) follow the instructions on the manual above with the following considerations:

• Skip steps 5 to 17 (there are two steps 17; skip the first and perform the second). Make sure you assemble servos 0 and 5 in the their normal position for 16 DOF (see the printed manual you received with your robot).

• On steps 34 to 66 (arm assembly) make sure to adapt to your 16 DOF accordingly. You may need to consult the printed manual that came with your Robobuilder.

This kit is also compatible and can be assembled in conjunction with the optional Hip Pivot Kit which adds 2 additional DOF to the Robot.
In case you use the Hip Pivot Kit then follow steps 5 to 17 as well.
