Set of Metal Gears n.4 for Robobuilder Kits

This set of gears is aimed at upgrading all the servos in early Robobuilder kits* that came with gear n. 4 in plastic.
Upgrading Gear number 4 offers improved durability and reliability.

The kit includes:

• 12x Metals Gears n. 4 to upgrade the 12 units of 1108 servos included in the kit
• 4x Metals Gears n. 4 to upgrade the 4 units of 1111 servos in the kit

* Please note the latest Robobuilder Kits already include the 4th Metal gear; servos purchased separately do not include this metal gear.
If you are unsure, remove the cover of a servo and check if the bigger gear (gear 4) is metal or plastic. If it is metal, then this upgrade is already installed in your Robobuilder.

This set assumes you have the standard Robobuilder Kit with 16 DOF / servos. If you have additional DOF please upgrade those gears accordingly. Please refer to our Standard Gear List and Upgrade Guide for more information.
