Metal Gear 4 for wCK 1108

The Metal Gear Number 4 is an upgrade for the wCK 1108 servos and earlly Robobuilder Kits* aimed at improving reliability.
Gear 4 is typically the gear that suffers the most stress under heavy usage. Upgrading it will offer improvements in terms of servo reliability and durability.

Used together with the optional Metal Gears 1, 2 & 3 for wCK 1108 your servos become capable of offering higher torque and higher speed, under higher voltages.For additional information about the Gear Types included with each Robobuilder kit and information on Upgrading to Full Metal Gears please refer to the Standard Gear List and Upgrade Guide

* Please note the newer Robobuilder Kits already come with the 4th Gear in Metal; Servos purchased separately do not include this metal gear (refer to the Standard Gear List and Upgrade Guide for further information).
If you are unsure if your servo or kit has the 4th Gear in Metal or Plastic, remove the cover of a servo and check if the bigger gear (gear 4) is metal or plastic. If it is metal, then this upgrade is already installed in your Robobuilder.

Obtaining more torque when using Full Metal Gears:
Servos with all metal gears are also able to provide more torque and higher speeds by applying higher voltages.
