DMP - SATA Slim DOM 8Gb
The DMP SATA Slim Disk-on-Module is a cost effective SSD solution for small,
embedded applications where a small form factor, reliable and power efficient
storage solution is required.
DMP's SATA Slim DOMs offer SATA II (3.0 GB/s) interface with a standard 7+15
pin SATA interface making them compatible with virtually any SATA port
(for 2.5" devices).
In addition to being small and power efficient, DMP's SATA Slim DOMs are
extremely resistant to shock and vibration making them suitable for
Industrial and Mobile applications. The modules have been tested to withstand
Vibrations of 7 to 2000 Hz, 20G and Mechanical shocks of 10ms at 50G. (see the
Datasheet for more information)

EWF Write Filter
Please note that Flashfire and EWF have very different purposes: for
normal, day to day use, Flashfire is recommended. For static
installation scenarios, EWF is usually more appropriate.
-
Linux:
- If you use ext3 or ext4, you may mount the file systems with "noatime"
& "nodiratime" options to reduce unnecessary disk writes.
- Set the I/O scheduler suitable for SSD; we suggest that you set
"elevator=noop".
*The SATA Slim DOM modules are compatible with a variety of devices including
the eBox 300MX / 3310MX computers
that come with support for SATA HDD.
If you wish to use this DOM module on compatible eBox models please check the
Installation Diagram.
