Robotis - RC-100A Remote
The RC-100 is Robotis Remote
Control for Bioloid and OLLO Robots. This remote has been elegantly and
ergonomically designed to suit and give hands a better grip.
This version includes de RC-100 only with IR communication.
It can be upgraded to Zigbee Wireless Communication (with a
ZIG-100/ZIG-110A Set) or Bluetooth
Communication (with a BT-110A Set)
Features:
- Supports IR communication and Optionally Zigbee Or Bluetooth
communication. (for Zigbee or Bluetooth you'll need to purchase the
appropriate Set: ZIG-100/ZIG-110A or
BT-110A)
- Power save mode that automatically turns the unit Off when not in use
used for a period of time.
- The 10 buttons support up to 1023 different button combinations, capable
of any kind of combination to control your robot.
Programming the Robot to React to Remote Controls:
You'll need to use Behaviour Control program or Roboplus Action to "teach"
the Robot what to do in reaction to each button that is pressed.
On each button press a unique number is sent to the controller indicating which
keys are pressed. You simply need to program the Robot to read this data and
react to the keys pressed.
The default
Bioloid PREMIUM
Task Code (TSK file) includes programming code to take advantage of the RC-100 Remote Control. It can be used as a starting point/example to modify and develop
your own code to use your Robot with RC-100.

Please note: The RC-100A does NOT support IR communication with AX-S1.

Additional Information: Because RC-100A is an upgrade version of RC-100, when adding
Zig-100 or BT-100, a Blue LED will turn on (instead of Green). This will let
you identify and distinguish RC-100 from RC-100A modules.
