Right, time to spam up another section now that i'm the happy owner of rep001's RB1000 :D

I'm in the process of trying to set up a wireless control system.

I've got the graupner RX module and intend to use the 40Mhz module from my futaba 3pk in my futaba FF9 heli radio. Ripmax say the radio side will work and in theory if the radio is transmitting a PPM signal the rx should be able to receive it.

If this doesn't work i have the Kondo radio - but absolutely no idea what kind of signal it transmits - can anyone enlighten me please?

If i'm still having no joy i'll need another solution…
So if anyone (ray?) can let me know what systems they have working, what parts are required (shopping list) and where is can get them, i'd be very grateful.

thanks, ds

ps also interested in the additional shoulder and knee articulation kits if anyone has any info about them?

as an addition to the above… would anyone know whether a bluesmirf module would work?

if so:
• how would i go about plumbing it into the rb1000?
• could i use the built-in bluetooth on my macbook or would i need a bluetooth usb dongle too?

thanks, ds

Hi,

from my memory (I had changed my controller to that of RB2000),
RB1000 use a controller that use ppm signal, however, it use 10 consecutive pulse sets as a group.

I think it is not a general transmitter ( I will call it a 10 channel transmitter, may be wrong :? )

In the past I use "Sanwa" PRoBo RP-101,
(but the response speed is not so satisfactory)

"Graupner Robotics" has similar transmitter
you can visit this web site and send them e-mail.

Presently, I use the Robot Controller of RB2000:
VS-RC003, which can be controlled by a wireless PS2 Controller,
and the performance is very good, especially the digital gyro board,
I can say, it is as good as that of the Kondo!

you can contact:

RT shop: (Japan shop ------- usually reply very late :x )
http://www.rt-net.jp/index.php?main_pag ... anguage=en
(I know presently, they already had one set)

or Vstone
http://vstone.co.jp/top/j_top.html

But please note all the manual is written in japanese, you may need translation software.

Best Luck.
