Hi, I am New to this, I want to build humanoid robot but I am not sure what parts I need in order to build them. I am not looking to a find a kit because the ones I found are very expensive. I want the robot look kind of looks like the Bioloid. But less expensive, I want to be able to program from my computer via bluetooth and be able to walk and do other cool things.

Is there a tutorial on how to make them? Like what parts I will need, what parts I need to start off with, Ect. If there is a less expensive humanoid robot kit can you please tell me where I can find it.

Thanks.

the best way to start if you want to build your own robot is to get some servos and a controller board ( for example this one : http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/551 ) and you probably intend to build your own brackets from aluminum so start by building something simple like a snake robot. Alternatively you can get a kit such as the RoboBuilder beginner kit ( http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/457 ).

Also check our forum as there are many threads where people describe their own building or modifying of robots.

good luck
