Help on KHR-3HV servo position

I'm from HK and I got my robot directly from Japan by a firend. I got full set (3 senors, + 5 ext + 3AD).

Although I did not buy the robot here, I wonder if any of you professional can help me out.

Assemble is a nightmare not only the manuals are all in Japanese but also they are design for those buy the options one by one. I have to assemble and disassemble again and again to install the 5 ext servo.

In this case, I loss the home position / netual position of the servo. (I mean after I load the hello_KH3 from HTH4 to my robot, some of the servos are out of alignment.

I wonder if I need to disassemble the robot again or I can just use the HTH4 to adjust it back to home position?

Once I learn how to upload picture, I will post them.

You can use HTH4 to adjust it back. Use the トリム (Trim) adjustment for each servo in the RCB-4 configuration.

Hello,
I have just assembled the kit you are talking about.
I had to disassemble the 17 DOF configuration and build it now for 22DOF + 3 sensors (2x GIRO and RAS).Regarding the home\neutral position you should do everything like for 17 DOF robot manual recommends,only to add mark "v" to each H2H4 software fields responsible to ## blue ID0,both 3 and both 5. If you marked this fields and save this file in the EPROM of controller (ROM/\) and saved this file in your computer , you should have not a problem for.
Regarding the manuals for a difference additional sensors etc I downloaded the ones from the KONDO site directly, Japanese version.A very simple to turn on the sensors just looking for the pictures of this manuals even though you don't know the language.
I had some problem with H2H4 software looking for I'm still using the Japanese version of one (I could not install the English path of Chrisvo designed , it works on my computer partly :cry: ).I mean the problem arises when some error message appears and I can not understand what is the matter because the error message is in Japanese.But I caught still one reason of main error's message when the software loses the COM- connection (Japanese error message says like "bla-bla-bla-COM-bla-bla-bla) in case the battery pack is empty and you should recharge it. You can easy make sure in case,looking for the LED's lights (LED1 & LED2 of the control board):if the power switch turned on but the LEDs do not light you will have not the COM -connection and error message for it.
Sorry for my English,I tried to help looking for I m in the similar position like you with the one difference : I don't know even a one KHR-3 owner who speak Russian and can help me :)

PS. Be careful for MX-201 power supply.It works only for 100 v and most likely for 60 Hz .But when I used the 220v->100 v adapter and charged the battery pack firstable the MX-201 transformer was very hot (may be +80 C ) the reason is 50 HZ frequency instead of 60 Hz recommended, I think. It can not work too long as is,thats why I'm going to look for a new, a little beat more powerful transformer with the following spec: 220v,50 Hz,40W--->20V,2A instead of the one presented of MX-201. I have to take only the old control board of MX-201 and to attach it (solving) to the new transformer.

Unfortunately, I had a accident tonight as my left arm servo ID4 burned.

It happens when I'm going to save data to RAM. Smoke come outof the servo and I power off immedately. I take if off and find that one of the IC was cooked. I did know why it happens. Hope you all get better luck than me.

I still had problems to make alignment. Is that anyway to do the alignment easier?
