Hi all

As you may know the English documentation for KHR 3HV is already available.
Although Kondo expressly forbids its public distribution, we have put together some PDFs with a few (sample) pages from the manuals so users and potential buyers can have a look and have an idea about KHR 3HV.

The documents are available here
- Heart to Heart 4 Manual
http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Sup ... Sample.pdf

- KHR 3HV Assembly
http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Sup ... Sample.pdf

If you look on the KHR 3HV Assembly, there are many additional specs and information that was not known until now:

- Up to 36 servos

- The servos seem to use a 1 wire half duplex interface just like Bioloid Uses (page 8 of the sample manual) with increased speed (1.25Mbps)

- Servo connection seems to be divided in 4 sections of the RCB 4HV. (left arm / right arm / left leg / right leg.
Because Kondo specifically designates ports for each of these areas, I am not sure if this is the same daisy chained approach as Bioloid.
I mean the servos are daisy chained but I am not sure if ALL the servos are daisy chained or only the servos in each Section. (meaning 4 separate chains would exist on the robot).
This can be seen on page 9 of the users manual.

I leave the rest for you to explore :)

Regards
Pedro

Hi Pedro,

Thanks for all the info on the manuals, I was just wondering if the HtH4 software is officially available in English?

Many thanks,

Keukpa

Hi

As far as we know, there is no official English version of Heart to Heart 4.

There is an un official translation of Heart to Heart 4 into English made by one of our forum users called "chrisvo".

If you look on the forum you should be able the thread relating to this.

The process involves installing HTH4 and then replacing, adding some extra files with the English translation I believe. Still, please look on our forum for the specific thread about his.

Since this is an "unofficial" solution and therefore neither RoboSavvy nor Kondo are able to offer official support for it.

We did try it, and liked it (it's a very nice help for day-to-day use) but this is al the information I am able to offer.

Regards
Pedro

Thank you very much for this documentation! I have been looking for something like this, because I really needed the assistance, but have been unsuccessful until now. I was wondering if anyone can help me build a rapid prototype of a design that I am working on? I have schematics, and prints for it, but do not have the means or expertise to actually build a working prototype. If anyone has any recommendations for me, I would really love to hear them. Thank you.

anhdungbk25, grateful for the manual. I think all third generation humanoid robots developed by KONDO KAGAKU are worth buying. I was delighted to finally have 1x wireless RSS Tool Chest controller!
