KHR-2HV Questions, Please

Is there a way to control the KHR-2HV wirelessly, without buying the $300 KRC-3 remote? I'm wondering if it can be controlled by bluetooth or some other method.

I would also like to know which of the accessories are most recommended by other users. I am thinking of getting this for my son and I don't want to leave off an accessory that he will be needing the most. I am looking at the 2 KRG-3 Gyros, a RAS-2 Acceleration Sensor and maybe the 10.8V 800mAH NiMH Batery Pack. Are there others that are more important?

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes.

The solution of choice, at least with owners here in Japan, is the REV-1, TEC-1 or TEC-3 controller developed by HotProceed. They use a PS2 wireless game controller to handle the signal communication and the controller keys map to RCB3 code assignments.

I'm not sure which overseas distributors are handling the product line - Limor here at RoboSavvy may be selling them. Here's the Japanese listings:
