We added a video camera to one of our robots, so now you can have a first-person view while you fight Robot against Robot.

could you supply information concerning the camera and set up? where does one acquire such a camera? what software is required? etc

It looks like a wireless camera for a TV with the receiver plugged into a converter to make it usable on a USB port. The software would then be a TV tuner program (that would come with the converter) made for entertainment PCs, which would then import the video (as a webcam) into ooVoo (an IM type of client).

You can find more info on how people have added cameras to RN-1s by searching the forum in the RoboNova-1 section for "camera".
