In voice control mode you can say action, start to make him do one of several special actions. I am having trouble getting him to work in this mode correctly. Do you say Action plus Start or just the word Action or start by themselves?

Use the controller to manually first select Voice Control mode. The display will show VC-MODE. The Manual, page 27 describes the verbal command, "Action Start." It will do one of the special actions at random (or one of the two secret actions). I plan to check these functions this evening and will report anything unusual. Has anyone determined what the secret actions are? If so, please post.

VC Voice Control Mode
Speak "Action Start"

Action Start is one of the ten voice commands listed
on the i-SOBOT Action Table.

These are the results of putting i-SOBOT into VC
Voice Control mode using the controller, and then
speaking "Action Start." The voice command was
repeated and each time the response is noted
below. Note: the voice command is recognized
when i-SOBOT is listening as indicated by the blue
searchlight.

- Eagle

- Gorilla

- A One Act Play

- Rooster

- Hands Together and Look Left right

- Bow, walk forward, "I'm having Trouble finding my way in here"
"oh no, this place is crawling with alien monsters..."

- Bow, walk forward, "I'm having Trouble finding my way in here"
"oh no, this place is crawling with alien monsters..."

- A One Act Play

- Martial Arts Demo

Note: There is also a random selection of performances
from other voice commands, such as speaking, "i-SOBOT."
My favorite is when he introduces himself with a description
of his specs.

Note: Speaking "Action," which is not one of the stored voice
commands, may cause no motion, or the humanoid may step backwards some steps.
