Bioloid: Features 20 DOFs, half duplex daisy chain serial communication, distance sensor in 3 directions (front, left and right) and sound sensor. It also includes very good programming tools, easy to use software and has it's very own bus that runs at 100Mhz for communicating with the servos. Very popular robot among enthusiasts and universities doing research.

Robobuilder: full featured humanoid robot with 16 servos/DOF, PID motion control, easy assembly system, full duplex daisy chain serial communication, sound sensor and optional distance sensor (which Robosavvy is offering for free). Comes with an IR remote control and optional bluetooth serial communication. All Robobuilder models can be programmed using easy-to-use software tools (MotionBuilder / Action builder ). Alternativelly the robot can be programmed using C.
