• We ship Hitec & Robotis items from within Europe. We currently have a fixed shipping rate for the kits.

Worldwide Shipping from Japan

• Items from the following manufacturers are shipped from Japan to any destination worldwide: Kondo, ABCHobby, ETA, RT-Net, IXS
• Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and weight of the package.
• We ship by EMS courier directly from Japan.
• Packages usually arrive within 5 business days.
• European customers will have to pay VAT at their country's rate. Payment will be to the local courier to clear items from customs.

Import TAX

• Items sent from Japan carry your RoboSavvy invoice. You are technically the importer of these items. There are no import taxes for Hitec & Robotis items shipped within EU countries.
• Europe - VAT rates vary in Europe from 15% to 25% of the value of imported goods including the cost of shipping. (UK rate is 17.5%). No other taxes are applicable in Europe for the KHR-1 kit. Here are the links to the TARIC code database for items of type 9503300000 and 9503209000 showing that 0% duty rate is applicable for items of type "Other construction sets and constructional toys" and "Reduced-size ('scale') model assembly kits" imported from Japan.
• USA - No import duty is applicable for electronics coming from Japan which is under the free-trade agreement.
• Other countries - Many countries apply import duties, customs and VAT to imported goods. Please check what if any rates apply for imported educational electronic kits from Japan to your country.
