Attaching RCB-1s

Attaching RCB-1 Boards

The next piece is a plastic object that attaches to the back of the robot. It serves as a base for the PCBs (RCB-1) to ensure there's no short circuiting.

It is screwed onto the the robot's back with a set of "Chrome Pan" screws.

Then finally the RCB-1 pair is screwed onto the plastic using the standard "Nickel Pan" screws.

Done..

Now we add a pair of brackets to the body and they will serve as attachment points for the arms. Hence "Shoulder Servo Arms".

Quite a lot of weight is going to be supported by this bracket so 4 screws are used to hoist it on.

The servo representing the head is attached onto an aluminum Head Base which attaches to the robot body hull and keeps the battery from falling out. 4 Nickel Pan screws keep the head in place.

When I went through the Initial Position procedure with all the servos, I attached the free hone to this last servo as well. It appears that the little hat is not really needed.

OK, we have all the limbs and it is starting to look like a robot!
